This is a 5 x 7 collage called 'Do You Really See?' This piece is a bit darker than the others I've been making recently. Someone I love very much is suffering from major depression right now. It hit her like a brick wall and she's never gone through anything like this before. It is very hard for me to see her like this, but she is getting help so hopefully we will see a positive change soon. I made this piece as I was thinking about her.

Beth, I LOVE this piece. It's awesome. I am soooo sorry your friend is going through this. I've had this happen to loved ones, too. It's hard to feel like there's nothing you can do.

This is really quite lovely and restful.
I hope your friend gets out of her sad place soon and back to loving herself. I will keep her(him) in my prayers!

Very nice Beth!
Hang in there with your friend and encourage them to continue to seek help. As Winston Churchill said, "If you are going thru hell, KEEP going!" It will work out>
Hugs!

Oh I sure know what major depression feels like. It is worse then any pain ever on earth if you ask me. I had it for such a long time. The good thing is there is light at the end of the tunnel ... at least there was for me. And believe you me, I never thought there would be. I sufferred for 30 years exactly. When you are sad nothing is easy. It's hard to believe you have value because everything is so distorted. I hope your friend gets better soon. I did and it feels like a miracle, so I know miracles can happen. Hugs and love this picture you did too! I really love it! Sanna

The piece is perfect...just what the doctor ordered. Now, are you going to give it to her?

Beth,
I really like this. I don't think it's too dark, It's a little moody and that is perfect for the subject matter.
Healing thoughts to your friend!
Hugs,
Jen
